Marex is a Norwegian motorboat company known for modern craftsmanship, quality and impeccable design, and these standards have been maintained for more than four decades since the first Marex boat appeared in Norway. Marex boatyard was founded in 1973 in Grimstad, a small town on the south coast of Norway. Its founder and general manager for more than 20 years was Evin Allrud. Soon after its establishment, thanks to Evin's foresight, the company became very successful and remained a family business. Gradually became one of the most solid European boat manufacturers in a very volatile business. Today, the company is owned and managed by the founder's two sons - Espen and Thomas.
Today, Marex Boats is stronger and bigger than ever, with its dealer network all over the world. Marex is known throughout Europe for its modern craftsmanship, durability and design. This is evidenced by all the international awards that Marx has received in the last decade in the national and international arena.
